Getting stuck

Lucas loves trying to get into places where he doesn't really fit and then doesn't know how to get out of. He is a funny little guy.

Lucas walking with a walker

Lucas just starting using his little walker last week. One day he tried it out and the next day he was just cruising with it. It is fun to see him move.

Peek-a-boo

PEEK
A
BOO!

11 months old!

Lucas is 11 months old today! In only one month he will be ONE! That is so crazy to me. He is growing up so fast. He is a fast crawler now especially when he sees something that he wants or if he sees that the gate isn't up on the stairs. He loves climbing up the stairs but hasn't mastered going down them. He stands up on things and especially loves opening the cupboards or drawers and taking everything out of them. He loves to eat cheese. He recently learned how to play peek-a-boo and will entertain us by putting his face on the ground or couch and then pop back up. This has helped when we change his diapers because he is so squirmy. We will put a blanket on his face and say "Where's Lucas?" and he pulls it off and laughs. He is a happy little boy.

Waiting for daddy to come upstairs

Loves bathtime

We celebrated Ryan's birthday last week and Lucas was amazed with the candles

Football season and we are super excited! Lucas still fits into his 3-6 month onesie that we used during basketball season, but I am thinking that I need to order him some new Cougar shirts

Cheesy grin

Trying to get into everything!

Loves drinking from a straw

A fun toy to play on

Minnesota trip

We had a great trip to Minnesota a couple of weeks ago and I am finally back to my normal schedule now. It was such a wonderful trip and only wish that we could have stayed longer and taken more pictures. We got to go to a Twins' game, the Minnesota state fair, Valleyfair (amusement park), Minnehaha falls, the mall of America, IKEA, visiting my family and a friend there (sister and family, aunt and uncle and cousins, and Ryan's best friend from home that just moved there), and last but certainly not least many amazing visits with Lucas' birth family. Lucas did so well meeting everyone and running on little sleep and naps. We were so happy that he was his normal self. He loved being the center of attention to even more people. We were so happy that we got to make the trip.

Eating a corn dog (don't worry, we didn't really let him eat it whole, we cut it up for him)

What a great trip! We can't wait to go back and see everyone again!
