All ready for church

I was washing some dishes and looked over and saw this cute boy smiling at me, luckily the camera was right on the counter.

He is a long skinny boy! The doctor said he was healthy and sounded perfect. He had to get an oral vaccine and two shots. He didn't mind the first one, but the second one he cried, but was quickly calmed down when I picked him up. I think they were harder on Ryan.

Lucas is 4 months...I can hardly believe it. He fits into 0-3 month clothes still, except for most pants. He is too tall for them, but the 3-6 month pants are so big around his waist. He still fits in some newborn onesies. He is still such a great baby. He sleeps 9-10 hours at night and is on a really good schedule during the day. I know when he is going to eat and sleep and I can plan my day around it. He stays awake between his evening feedings and is so funny. He makes lots of noises and loves chatting with us.

We went out to dinner for Valentine's Day while my sister watched Lucas. We were glad we went early because he had a rough night after his shots. He was crying like I have never seen him cry, he must have been sore from the shots. We gave him some baby tylenol and after rocking and cudding he fell asleep without being wrapped up, but if we tried to set him down he would get so sad.

He slept until it was time to eat and then he went to bed like normal and slept all night. He woke up a happy boy, we were so happy too! It is hard to watch him so sad.

Little Bear

We went to a high school basketball game and Lucas had to dress up like a bear to cheer on the team. Go Bears!

Funny Boy

The other day Ryan picked up Lucas from playing with his toys, apparently he did not want to stop playing. He would not let go so Ryan had to pry his fingers off the toy. It was so funny!

He did it!

He rolled over starting on Friday! It was fun to see him to do it; he was so proud of himself! This was about the third or fourth time on Friday.

The other night Lucas thought that he should start rolling over. He hasn't quite figured it out yet. He gets to his side and then puts his face on the ground, but his arm is blocking him from rolling over.
