Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. The weather was amazing and the best that we have had for Easter in so long. Lucas played outside and loved every second. We went to our friend's house on Saturday for an Easter egg hunt and he was pretty excited about it and loved picking up the eggs because he knew there was candy in them. We forgot our camera so these pictures were just on my phone.

 

 

On Sunday after church and naps, we went to Ryan's parent's house for an Easter egg hunt and dinner. Lucas loves being with his cousins and had a blast on round 2.

 

He had collected quite a few eggs and then saw the airplane, set his basket down and ran for the airplane instead of finding more eggs

He was so proud of this hat and proceeded to make us all wear it

Fun times

We like to walk outside and get the mail when Ryan is about to come home and then Lucas gets to help Ryan pull the truck into the driveway. Lucas is so happy to help.

This is another of his career aspirations: anything with hangers. He goes crazy in our closet and his closet. We were at a store and this was his favorite spot to be.

I took a picture of him on my phone on Easter at church. He was playing with a broken cell phone but just looked like a little man. I love how the family next to us was just watching and laughing at him.

Park day

This park that we were at had a big sand volleyball court. He loved playing in the sand.

Little chick

Lucas was a duck for Halloween, but my sister has a little chicken costume and since he didn't wear it for Halloween, I thought he could wear it for some Easter pictures:

Easter

We had a great Easter. We went to church and Lucas was dressed in a little suit and tie and look like a little man. It was so cute. He was playing with a play cell phone in the aisle and looked like a business man making his calls. We went to Ryan's parent's house for dinner, but before dinner was the big Easter Egg Hunt. Lucas couldn't care less about the Easter eggs and just wanted to be outside and play on the airplane. I even tried to show him that there was candy in the eggs, but he didn't care. He didn't pick up one egg. Oh well. 

Easter

After spending the last 5 days in Utah, Lucas and I made it home Easter morning in time for church and Easter dinner at Ryan's parent's. Lucas was so happy to see his daddy.

Lucas wore a cute little outfit and he looked so handsome. He loves anything yellow, especially yellow ducks. I made these cupcakes especially for him. He loved looking and smiling at them. We had a wonderful Easter with family. We are so grateful to be able to celebrate the Savior's resurrection.
